For independent pharmacies
Your Customers Already Ask You First
Every day, someone at your counter describes a sore throat or a burning UTI and asks what they should do. Your pharmacist can't diagnose it, and the nearest urgent care is a drive and a bill away. With ChatRx, they scan a code at your counter and start a free symptom check that takes about 7 to 10 minutes. The ChatRx Medical Group reviews it, and if they need a prescription, it goes to the pharmacy they choose.

Why Independent Pharmacies Offer It
You get a next step. When a customer asks about symptoms, your team can point to something real instead of "you should see a doctor."
The prescription comes back to a pharmacy. When treatment includes one, the patient picks where it goes. A customer standing at your counter can pick you.
Insurance doesn't matter. Cash-pay, uninsured, high-deductible. Same $25 for everybody, and no surprise bill.
Most of them won't need a prescription. Roughly two out of three ChatRx assessments end with guidance, not a prescription. That's antibiotic stewardship your pharmacists can stand behind.
What Your Counter Sees Every Day
Customers asking about infections they can't afford to get checked. They want to know if it's serious and what it will cost to find out.
Uninsured and cash-pay customers with nowhere affordable to go. Urgent care is a drive and a bill they'd rather skip.
Families choosing between the visit and the prescription. When money is tight, one of them waits.
People who go to urgent care and come back to you anyway. The prescription ends up at a pharmacy. The question is which one.
You're already the trusted health stop in town. ChatRx gives that trust somewhere to go.
How It Works at the Counter
A counter card with a QR code sits by the register. A customer scans it, answers a few questions on their phone, and the ChatRx Medical Group reviews the assessment. No appointment, no video call, and they don't have to stand around while it happens.
It works after you close, too. Someone who picked up a card on Friday can start a check at 11 PM on Sunday and, if they need a prescription, pick it up when you open Monday.
What ChatRx Treats
Common, non-emergency conditions that are safe to handle online. More than 40 in total, including:
Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Sinus infections
Strep throat
Ear infections
Pink eye
Bronchitis and upper respiratory infections
Skin infections
Flu and COVID, with antivirals when clinically appropriate
What It Costs
The symptom check is free for your customers. They pay $25 only when a physician determines treatment is needed. That covers the treatment plan, a prescription when appropriate, and a work or school note.

What Setup Involves
We provide counter cards, signage, and a page for your pharmacy with its own link, so you can see how many customers started from your store.
No integration with your pharmacy system, and no tablet or kiosk at your counter. Customers use their own phones. Your team doesn't need training beyond knowing where the cards are.
Your team doesn't practice medicine. They provide access to it.
